All in One Cure & Seal for Broom Finished or Hard Troweled Concrete Introduced

ChemMasters, Inc. has introduced new concrete cure and seal product for use on driveways, garage floors and sidewalks. Silencure™ SRT Concrete Cure & Seal significantly simplifies the contractor's job by providing a curing compound and penetrating siloxane sealer in a single product which can be applied on all types of concrete including both broom finished and hard troweled surfaces. Because it is applied to fresh concrete it eliminates water curing, stripping and the traditional 30 day waiting period.

“Silencure SRT represents the leading edge in today's technology for curing and sealing concrete,≵ said John Fauth, Vice President of ChemMasters. ≴It truly is a revolutionary advancement in concrete technology: the first and only penetrating cure and seal that can be used on all concrete finishes, making it easier, faster and less costly to cure concrete and provide long lasting protection against damage from freeze/thaw cycling and deicing chemicals…all in one application.”

Silencure SRT is a patented pure acrylic copolymer compound for curing and sealing new concrete installations or resealing existing concrete. When applied to newly-placed concrete, it produces a non-yellowing clear continuous film, which effectively cures fresh concrete while providing a tough protective acrylic film to the surface. Additionally, Silencure SRT contains a proprietary blend of siloxanes which penetrate capillary pores of fresh concrete to form a silicone matrix which effectively prevents water and salt penetration.

ChemMasters' Solvent Replacement Technology (SRT) provides additional benefits, as it is environmentally safe, VOC compliant and virtually trouble-free. Silencure SRT cures concrete to ASTM C-309 and ASTM C-1315 standards, exceeds NCHRP 244 standards for salt protection and will exceed 100 freeze / thaw cycles without damage.
