The Methyl Methacrylate Advantage

• mMa based floors cure quickly.  A typical methyl methacrylate floor will cure in 1 hour versus the 6 — 24 hours required for other liquid applied systems.  Fast cure enables the project to be completed earlier reducing downtime and installation cost.

• mMa based floor systems can be applied at very cold temperatures down to -20°F (-29°C).  Our mMa floors can be easily installed in freezers, coolers or unheated buildings.

• mMa floor systems are more flexible.  This enables our floors to resist thermal shock and a wide range of temperature cycling where other floor systems normally fail.

• mMa based floor systems are extremely durable.  They resist a wide range of chemicals including most acids and alkalis.  They are also very impact and abrasion resistant and can easily withstand tow-motor traffic.

• Recoating an mMa floor requires minimal surface preparation when compared to other floor coatings.  Fresh applications of mMa melt and bond to the old mMa to produce a monolithic system that will not peel.  Downtime and reseal costs are significantly reduced and durability is vastly improved when coating with mMa.
